This 5-½ x 8-1/2 inch, 392-page blue hardcover book with gold blocking on the cover and spine contains speeches given by Göring and several articles he wrote for the Third Reich magazine Der Vierjahresplan, the official magazine of Hermann Göring’s Four Year Economic Plan in 1937. The speeches selected by Dr. Erich Grisbach were at large Nazi conferences, at Police and Luftwaffe gatherings, Parliament, the Krupp factory, a DJ hunting festival, the opening of the new Air Force Ministry in Berlin, a radio speech at the Berlin Sportpalast arena, etc.

Published by the Central Publishing House of the NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachfolger of München (Munich), this is a fine Third Edition of Hermann Göring Reden und Aufsätze with its original - frequently missing - red dust jacket which shows wear. It looks like this 83 year old book was never read, it is in excellent condition, no odor.

Hermann Göring Reden und Aufsätze (Hermann Göring - Speeches and Magazine Articles) was assembled by (SS-Oberführer Ministerialdirigent) Dr. Erich Gritzbach, the same author who wrote the Third Reich bestseller Hermann Göring - Mensch und Werk (Hermann Göring - The Person and His Work), Göring's right-hand man and confidant at the Prussian State Ministry. While mostly portrayed as a vain buffoon nowadays, World War I fighter Pilot ace Hermann Wilhelm Göring was the son of the first Governor-General of the German protectorate of South-West Africa and one of the most powerful men in Nazi Germany.
